Dr. Zarka Samoon completed her MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences LUMHS), Jamshoro. She did her Internship followed by one year of Internal Medicine at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi. She later completed two years of Internal Medicine training followed by fellowship at Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi. She has her degrees in MRCP (Medicine), MRCP (Med Onc) and FCPS (Med Onc). Dr. Zarka Samoon has been working as Medical Oncology facultyat AKUHsince 2015. Her field of special interest aregynecologic cancers and supportive care.  She is currently doing her Research Fellowship at University of Sydney. In her spare time she enjoys photography, cooking, travel and blogs with the title ‘zarkaspeaks.blogspot.com’.
